Commercial Property

Amy is an experienced Commercial Property lawyer advising businesses from a range of sectors on property transactions, including agricultural property and the property aspects of corporate acquisitions, disposals and re-structures.

Amy is passionate about supporting local businesses having grown up in and spent her entire working life in Kent. She takes a keen interest in the agricultural sector and has acted for a number of farmers and land owners.

She is known for her friendly down to earth approach and professionalism, never compromising on the quality of her legal work. Her style is to work collaboratively with clients and other parties involved to ensure transactions are concluded as smoothly as possible.

Recent transactions include the purchase of a grassland farm, the transfer of business premises and re-financing as part of a company de-merger, the acquisition of a small development site and subsequent plot sales and the exchange of option agreements for a developer.

Amy qualified as a Solicitor in 2008 having previously graduated from the University of Sheffield with a law degree and completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Guildford. She joined Girlings in February 2020 from another Kent based law firm.
