Katie Perkins

Trainee Solicitor

Commercial Property

Katie started the third seat of her training contract in September 2025. She sits with the Commercial Property Team and is based in our Canterbury office.

Katie graduated with a first in Law from the University of Kent in 2023. She then undertook work experience in our Herne Bay office, gaining an insight into the work of our Private Client, Family Law, Residential Property, and Commercial Property teams.

Katie began the SQE course at BPP University in February 2024 and passed her SQE1 exam in September 2024 (scoring in first quintile for both FLK1 and FLK2). She continues to work towards her SQE2 qualification alongside her training contract.

Outside the office, Katie enjoys adventurous activities from hiking Machu Picchu in Peru to doing a bungee jump and a skydive, although she is equally happy relaxing with a book or watching documentaries. She hopes to complete a marathon in the coming years.

Testimonials

Katie Perkins has been like a breath of fresh air... She has been attentive, and responsive. At times she has been pre-emptive, keeping me informed of progress. She has a pleasant, but professional approach.
