Macauley graduated from the University of Kent in 2017 with a degree in Law, and completed his LPC at the University of Law, London. He originally joined Girlings in 2019 as a Paralegal in the Residential Property department, before commencing his training contract and qualifying early into the team.
Macauley advises on all manner of property transactions, including domestic conveyancing of properties ranging from shared ownership flats to high value character properties with large estates. He is also experienced at tackling more complex work, such as titles that require the granting of new easements, deeds of covenant, or variations to existing leases or transfers.
Macauley believes the key to an effective transaction is communication. He mitigates what can be a stressful process for buyers and sellers by promptly addressing concerns, being direct and straightforward, and by providing timely updates. He also takes particular care to tailor his approach to fit his clients’ needs; a trait that has led him to develop lasting relationships with clients and referrers alike.
Outside of the workplace, Macauley enjoys exploring the Kent countryside and spending time with his family.
