Gemma began working as legal secretary in 1995. From 2006-2011 she worked for the local authority and in the education sector in various roles.
Gemma joined Girlings in 2016 as a legal secretary in the Wills, Tax and Estate Administration department. She became office manager before moving to the Vulnerable Client team as a case worker. She is now Senior Case Worker in the Vulnerable Client Team.
Gemma particularly enjoys working across the community supporting a range of clients, their families, carers and loved ones to ensure they feel supported and safe.
Gemma is a trained Mental Health First Aider and has completed multiple MBL online courses which relates to her work with vulnerable clients including Benefits for Elderly Clients and Vulnerable Clients – Your Professional Obligations.
Away from work she enjoys spending time with her children and two rottweilers.
