Prior to starting his Training Contract, Mathew worked as a paralegal in our sister company, Girlings Personal Injury Claims. He is a Law graduate of the University of Kent and completed his LLM Legal Practice Course at the University of Law.
Mathew brings with him the experience of undertaking vacation schemes at both City and regional law firms, a post-graduation role at a niche conveyancing firm, and commercial awareness from his time as an assistant manager in the hospitality sector.
Mathew's first training seat was with our Residential Property Team, before transferring to Employment for his second.
Outside of the office, Mathew is a keen traveller, and completed a month-long solo trip across Thailand just before joining Girlings.
