Charlotte obtained a degree in law from the University of Kent at Canterbury and a Diplome de Droit Français from the Université de Pierre Mendes in Grenoble, France. She then went on to the College of Law, London to study for her Legal Practice Course which she passed with Distinction.
Charlotte joined Girlings as a trainee in 2009, qualified as a Solicitor in September 2011 and became a Partner in 2014.
She has been highly commended by many of her clients for her professional and attentive service and is a Legal Advisor at the Kent Law Clinic.
Charlotte is the principal contact for Girlings Europe, an alliance of law firms with European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) status.
Charlotte likes getting to know her clients and their families and working with them and their particular varying circumstances to succession plan, regularise non planned succession situations and give some form of closure to families when they have lost someone.
She is also an adviser at Kent Law Clinic, a WI Speaker and Adviser at Age UK Dementia Drop in Clinic.
Charlotte is an affiliate member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). STEP is a global professional body, comprising lawyers, accountants and other professionals, that helps families plan for their futures.
