Sophia qualified into our Dispute Resolution team via the Solicitors Qualifying Exam route in February 2025, having completed both her Masters in Legal Practice at the University of Law and accruing the requisite amount of qualifying work experience at Girlings.

Sophia worked in horticultural publishing before a career change to law, and initially worked in a firm specialising in Private Client work before joining Girlings.

Sophia particularly enjoys helping clients to protect their interests in what can sometimes be quite challenging situations. Her commitment to an empathetic approach is also reflected in her status as a Dementia Friend.

Outside of work, Sophia enjoys spending as much time as possible exploring the outdoors with her husband and son. She is a lifetime member of the National Trust.
