Jordan Potter

Trainee Solicitor

Wills, Tax & Estate Administration

Jordan began the third seat of his training contract, within the Wills, Tax and Estate Administration team, in October 2025. He is based in our Canterbury office.

Jordan has always known he wanted to become a solicitor. He chose Girlings because he sought to join a regional-sized firm and has a keen interest across the variety of legal areas in which we specialise.

Before joining Girlings, Jordan attended the University of Kent, where he attained a 2:1 in both his undergraduate and master’s degrees.

Alongside rotating through the different seats of his training contract, Jordan will also be following the SQE programme, and is currently studying towards his SQE2 examination.

Outside of the office, Jordan enjoys getting outside for long walks, reading widely, and listening to podcasts (Steven Bartlett’s ‘Diary of a CEO’ is a favourite). He also appreciates the opportunity to travel and discover more of the world in the company of his wife.
