Lauren moved to Canterbury in 2013 to study Law with Criminology at Canterbury Christ Church University, where she graduated with an upper second class degree.
She joined Girlings in 2016, working as a legal secretary in both the residential and commercial property departments. She gained experience in a variety of freehold and leasehold transactions including purchases, sales, re-mortgages and leases. During this time, Lauren completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) with joint masters award (LLM), part-time at the University of Law, Bloomsbury, graduating in 2021 with a commendation.
Lauren joined our Wills, Tax & Estate Administration team as a Paralegal in 2021, and then began her training contract in March 2022. Since then she has completed training seats in Dispute Resolution, Employment Law, Commercial and Residential Property, before starting her fourth and final seat with the Residential Property team in September 2023.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys watching live music and seeing friends and family.
