Sam Perry joined Girlings as an Associate Solicitor in the Wills, Tax, & Estate Administration Team in May 2026. He is based in our Canterbury office.
Sam qualified as a solicitor in September 2023 and specialises in Will drafting, the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney, dealing with applications for Probate and Estate Administrations, and advising on Trusts.
Sam graduated from the University of Warwick with a first-class Law degree in 2018 and then worked as a Paralegal preparing for breach hearings on behalf of the National Probation Service. Sam moved to another Kent law firm in 2020 and began his training contract in September 2021, working in the Private Client, Dispute Resolution and Vulnerable Client teams. Sam joined Girlings from a local firm where he had developed his knowledge and experience of Private Client matters.
Sam hopes to become a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) to continue to provide the best possible advice and support to his clients.
