Charlotte grew up in the local area and always knew she wanted to work for Girlings. She began her career with us in March 2023 as a Paralegal in the Family Law department, before progressing to a Training Contract in September 2023.
During her Training Contract, Charlotte completed two seats within the Private Client team. Her experience includes the drafting of Wills, the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney, applying for Grant of Probates and Letters of Administration, and the administration of estates.
Charlotte understands the importance of client relationships and prides herself on her approachable, kind, and empathetic nature. Recently, when preparing a client’s Will through the Pilgrims Hospices Scheme, she received the following feedback: “Thank you for the excellent service you have provided … I look forward to seeing you and working with you again.”
Charlotte graduated with a first-class degree in Law from the University of Liverpool in 2019. She then worked at some well-known Kentish law firms while completing her Legal Practice Course (LPC) with Joint Masters (LLM) at the University of Law London Bloomsbury – for which she achieved a Distinction.
Outside of work, Charlotte is the Captain of Margate Lawn Tennis Club’s First Team and competes in Division 1 of the Kent League. Charlotte is also a Level 2 Qualified Tennis Coach and in 2016 was picked as one of the top Ten coaches in England to attend the National Talent Camp at Loughborough University.
In her downtime Charlotte also likes going for long walks with her husband and spending time with her two cats, Mickey and Minnie.
