Her experience includes the administration of a variety of estates. She is also experienced in the drafting of Wills, the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney, registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney and has some experience in applications to the Court of Protection for Deputyship Orders.
Poppy has experience working with elderly clients to ensure that they understand what decisions they are making and works with them to achieve their wishes. Poppy is empathetic in her Private Client practice and is happy to make home and hospital visits where clients are unable to attend the office. Poppy also has experience working with clients who are dealing with bereavement and are looking for some assistance with matters which they may find too difficult to deal with themselves. She works to offer a personal service which ensures the clients feel comfortable by providing clear advice that can easily be understood.
Poppy graduated from the University of Brighton in 2017 with a 2.1 Law and Criminology degree before completing the Legal Practice Course (LPC) full-time, with a commendation, at the University of Law in 2018. Poppy then commenced her Training Contract in Kent in 2018, during which she offered assistance from time-to-time at the Citizens Advice Bureau and Gravesend’s One Stop Clinic. During Poppy’s Training Contract she completed her Dementia training and is a Dementia Friend. She successfully completed her Training Contract in October 2020, gaining broad experience during her time working in various departments. During Poppy’s time at University, she was elected as a student representative where she liaised with students and lecturers about any concerns over the course.
