Congratulations to everyone who completed the Ashford & District 10K on Sunday 25th February.
The race, now in its 35th year, featured 276 runners of all ages and abilities, including a 10-strong team from Girlings Solicitors.
Jessie Cloughley led Team Girlings home in an impressive 43 mins 50 secs, with several others from our contingent achieving personal best times.
Following on from Jessie were Carl Vincent, Charlotte Nock, Thomas Picknell, Curtis Wray, Ruby Stone, Hannah Guy, Alexa Smith, Charlotte Lambert and Lauren Jones.
In addition to posting a very credible time of his own, our Chairman Carl Vincent presented prizes to the overall and category winners, with first-placed Wegahta Zerome completing the route in an almost superhuman 31 mins 37 secs.
Team Girlings were raising money for our charity partner Oasis Domestic Abuse Service, and it was great to be joined on the course by their CEO Claire Williams, who ran a very respectable time herself.
