Girlings’ Corporate team has advised Adelard LLP on the sale of its business. Adelard LLP, which supports its clients in the area of safety, security and risk management, sold its business to NCC Group Plc, a global cyber and software resilience business.
Girlings’ team provided expert advice regarding the sale of the business to NCC Group Plc and was led by head of Corporate Chris Brightling. Senior Associate Solicitor, Jonathan Masucci, Corporate, Amy Husk, Senior Associate Solicitor, Commercial Property and David Morgan, Senior Associate Solicitor, Employment, supported Chris to secure the sale of the business.
Chris said of the completion: “Adelard is a long-standing and valued client of Girlings. It was, therefore, a pleasure to advise Robin and Sofia on a successful sale of the business – one which will be an excellent addition to NCC Group’s existing portfolio.
Robin and Sofia have been wonderful to work with, and this deal is the result of their hard work and dedication. They have both accepted senior positions with NCC and we wish them every success in the future.”
Partner, Robin Bloomfield said “The Girlings’ team managed this complex process with professionalism and perseverance. We certainly benefitted from having a long standing relationship with Girlings”.
Partner, Sofia Guerra added “The Girlings’ team covered all the different legal areas that we needed to address and understood that we needed to continue running the business at the same time. They were professional, pragmatic and supportive during the process”.
The transaction between Adelard LLP and NCC Group Plc is the latest in a long line of recent successful corporate transactions for the team across Kent and the South East who have a wealth of experience advising SMEs.
