Girlings Solicitors and sister company Girlings Personal Injury Claims, in partnership with Kent Business School and Kent Law School, has the pleasure of inviting you to a Business Soundbites networking event on breaking down barriers to achieve professional success. The event will be held at the Gulbenkian Theatre on the Canterbury campus on Thursday, 26 September and the programme is included below.
The rationale for the event is the centenary of the Sex Disqualification (Removal) Act 1919 which paved the way for the movement towards equality for women in the workplace. At the event we celebrate five female professionals working in different sectors, who have each broken down barriers to be successful in their careers. Our five story-tellers will share their personal journeys with the audience in an intimate setting. No notes, no slides and no CV summaries. These are stories from the heart, shared with others to inspire, encourage reflection and maybe generate change?
