Girlings is delighted to rank as a Leading Firm in the Legal 500 2021 for two of our practice areas. Legal 500 is the largest independent survey of the UK legal market and is recognised as the authoritative guide to law firms in the UK. An annual publication, achieving rankings in the directory is increasingly competitive and based on research which includes client feedback as well as detailed submissions from law firms.

Private Client team

Our Private Client team is ranked in the Legal 500 for the third year running and the Legal 500 editorial had this to say including the independently sourced client quotation below.

One of the largest private client practices in East Kent, Girlings advises on the full range of matters across tax, estates, and probates. The firm's clients include entrepreneurs, companies, and landowners. The team also has a dedicated Court of Protection service, and is active in working with charities. Lesley Rushton has a proven track record in working with vulnerable individuals. Charlotte Nock is fluent in French, frequently advising on matters related to French law.
