Girlings' Easter Raffle for Take Off
News

With an ease on the lockdown restrictions in place, we are all looking forward to the spring and summer sunshine to enjoy with friends and loved ones. And what better way is there to celebrate the great British outdoors than with a picnic?

To welcome in the spring, Girlings Solicitors are running an Easter raffle to raise vital funds for its corporate charity, Take Off, an inspiring local charity that works for better physical and mental heath.

The prize hamper includes…

  • Sophie Allport picnic hamper
  • Bee picnic rug
  • Royal Doulton set of 4 x melamine cups and 4 x melamine plates
  • a bottle of Chapel Down Non-Vintage Brut
  • and a £30 Canterbury BID gift card

The last year has highlighted the importance of our mental health and wellbeing, and has proposed new challenges for all of us. Even through the difficulties of the past year, Take Off have persevered and adapted so that they can continue to offer their service users the same fantastic support that they needed, even if at a distance or digitally.

With mental health problems affect around 1 in 4 people during their lives, Girlings is delighted to support Take Off as our corporate charity. Take Off works for better physical and mental health and provides people with much needed ready-made social networks and peer support services. It uses a peer support model and most of its services take the form of self-help groups, which are either ‘talking’ or ‘doing’ focused.
