Girlings Announces Four New Partners
News

Girlings Solicitors is pleased to announce the promotion of four of its senior associates to partnership in the Firm. The appointments are Amy Husk and Simon Stempien in Commercial Property, David Morgan in the Employment team and Jonathan Masucci (Corporate and Commercial).

Between them, the new partners have a wealth of experience in advising clients in commercial matters and their promotion represents a significant investment by the firm in its growing and well regarded business law practice.

Amy Husk qualified in 2008 and is an experienced Commercial Property lawyer who acts for farmers and landowners, landlords and tenants, and property investors and developers in all aspects of commercial property law. Her particular areas of expertise are in agricultural land and property and the property aspects of corporate transactions.

David Morgan worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a Research Scientist before re-training as a Solicitor. He qualified into the Employment team at the firm in 2013 and has a wide ranging employment law practice which includes expertise in business transfers, the employment aspects of corporate transactions and business immigration.

Based in our Ashford office, Jonathan Masucci, is a key member of the Girlings’ Corporate and Commercial team having been recruited as a lateral hire in 2020. Jonathan undertakes a broad range of both corporate and commercial work but has a particular specialism in advising clients on the legal aspects of influencer and brand agreements.

Simon Stempien qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and practices Commercial Property law in our Herne Bay office, having joined the firm from another large regional Firm in 2020. He advises companies, banks, developers, charities and individuals in relation to Commercial Property matters across the country.

Girlings’ Managing Partner Lesley Rushton, said: “The Firm is delighted to announce the well deserved promotion of this talented cohort of lawyers into the partnership. They bring a rich and varied range of skills and experience to the firm and its clients, and their energy and ambition will help the firm to grow and develop in the years ahead.”
