Congratulations to Girlings’ Emma Manley who beat off strong competition to be named Junior Lawyer of the Year 2019 at The Law Society’s Kent Junior Lawyers Division Achievement Awards held in Tunbridge Wells on Friday, 8 November 2019.
Since she qualified in 2018, Emma has become an integral part of Girlings’ successful Legal 500 recommended Private Client team and Court of Protection service. Emma was commended by the judges for her ‘grasp of the technical and complex’, an ‘incisive analytical approach’ and ‘ innate ability to relate to clients and build a relationship as a trusted advisor’.
Lesley Rushton who is Head of Private Client at Girlings said:
‘Emma impressed me from the very start during her traineeship in Private Client. Having worked with many Junior Solicitors, Emma stands out as a young and highly talented solicitor with exactly the right combination of skills for a Court of Protection legal service. She has a work ethic second to none. She has a good mind - analytical and with great technical ability.’
Well done Emma!
