Girlings Solicitors is delighted to have supported EBP Kent's (Education Business Partnership) 'Employable Me' programme again this year on 20th July at St Anselm's Catholic School, Canterbury.
EBP Kent aims to engage employers in the development of the future workforce and also helps young people to gain a better understanding of their future choices. During the ‘Employable Me!’ programme each student had an interview with an employer. The students also worked in teams to solve challenges set by various local businesses.
Girlings' Trainee, Emma Manley, who representated the Firm, said, 'I spent my day interviewing year 10 students. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the young people and hearing about their future plans and aspirations. For most of the students, this was their first experience of being interviewed and I was impressed by their confidence and enthusiasm.'
