Girlings Solicitors is delighted to have been a key partner and sponsor the inaugural Canterbury Wine Festival which was a tremendous success. The Festival brought together wine producers – large and small – from across the county and took place at the historic Westgate Hall from Friday, 21 June - Saturday, 22 June. It was formally opened by well known British wine writer and TV presenter and broadcaster, Oz Clarke.

Hundreds of people took the opportunity to attend the festival on the Saturday and were able to taste for themselves why Kent’s award-winning wines have become so popular both in the UK and abroad.

As a World Heritage Site and major tourist destination, Canterbury is the natural location to celebrate this tradition for local wine growing, and the historic Westgate Hall a perfect venue. The Canterbury Wine Festival will be back again next year from Friday 26 - 27 June 2020, and we hope to see you then!
