Tracy Furminger

Chartered Financial Planner

Independent Financial Planning

Tracy is a Chartered Financial Planner and has been providing independent pensions and investment advice to clients for nearly 20 years, with an emphasis on meeting clients’ long term objectives.

Tracy has a wealth of experience and especially enjoys putting together comprehensive long term financial plans for clients, ensuring that the products and underlying investment strategy are suitable to meet their objectives in terms of risk profile, timescale and tax treatment. She provides a holistic approach to financial planning whereby all aspects of the client’s financial situation are considered so that the advice is always what is best for her clients. She is passionate about explaining technical information in a client friendly manner.

She is particularly focused on ensuring that the underlying investment strategy is suitable both at the time it is set up and over the longer term. Regular reviews are therefore an essential part of the financial planning process, providing an opportunity to assess whether the investment strategy is on track to meet the client’s long term objectives. It is also a time to consider any regulatory updates and gives clients the ability to update any changes to their circumstances or objectives, so that the plan can be adjusted as necessary.

After achieving the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate, a Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) level 6 qualification, she was awarded Chartered status. This is now widely accepted as the gold standard for a financial planner. She also holds the CII Award in Long Term Care, is a member of Resolution and is an Education Champion for the CII.
