Prior to joining Girlings, Will graduated from the University of Reading with a law degree in 2016. He went on to complete the Legal Practice Course with distinction at the University of Law in 2017, whilst also working at a law firm in Eastbourne to complement his postgraduate studies. In his final year at Reading Will was elected President of the student law society, secured sponsorship backing for it from a variety of law firms and led the day to day running of the society, which had more than 300 members. During this period Will also won a coveted negotiation competition. He is currently Vice-President of the Kent Junior Lawyers Division and a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Will completed his training contract at leading West Kent firm Thomson Snell & Passmore and has experience in a wide-range of employment law matters, including:
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts and policies
- Advising employers and employees on day-to-day issues and enquiries concerning potential claims
- Reviewing and advising on Settlement Agreements, and where applicable, providing advice on negotiating strategy in order to obtain the best possible settlement
- Employment Tribunal claims
- Data Protection matters.

Aside from assisting employer and employee clients, Will particularly enjoys writing articles on thorny and topical employment law issues. He also enjoys volunteering his time, via both professional networks and outreach schemes. More recently, Will has been involved in providing legal advice through the Citizens Advice Bureau.
In his spare time, Will enjoys hiking, travelling, table-tennis and football.
