Nigel is an organised and skilled conveyancer with over 20 years’ experience gained working in Kent as well as London.

Nigel understands that buying and selling property can be a very stressful experience for the client and it is not just about the conveyancing procedure – important though this is.  He has a reputation for being approachable and is always pleased to speak to clients in order to progress their transaction and put their minds to rest.

He has worked for a wide range of clients and is committed to driving their matter forward as smoothly as possible and to keeping them informed throughout the conveyancing process. He is also used to handling a high volume of transactions from initial instruction through to post completion and to working to tight deadlines.

Before joining Girlings Residential Property department in Ashford, Nigel worked for PCM Solicitors in London, which was the first practice in London to be awarded membership of The Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS). Other firms he has worked for include west London solicitors Hubbard Pegman & Whitney and Gravesend-based Martin Tolhurst Solicitors.

Nigel has a degree in English and American Literature from Warwick University and also holds the Common Professional Examination in Law.

A keen reader, Nigel is interested in literature and history of all periods and in particular the history of the American Civil War.
