Training with Kent Association for the Blind (KAB) to support visually impaired clients
News

Girlings Solicitors and Kent Association for the Blind (KAB) are delighted to be working together to develop initiatives for Girlings to become the ‘go to’ Solicitor in East Kent for people with a visual impairment.

KAB recently delivered an Awareness in Visual Impairment course to staff at Girlings to help them understand how they can best cater for visually impaired clients and are confident in delivering good customer service in this area. The course was enthusiastically received, and representatives who attended from the Firm’s three offices in Canterbury, Ashford and Herne Bay are now looking forward to disseminating what they learnt with their colleagues.

‘An excellent training session which has given our staff a true understanding of the challenges that blind and partially sighted people face on a daily basis as well as practical ways in which we can improve our customer service and make ourselves more accessible.’ Louise Wilson, Private Client
