Girlings Solicitors Supporting Pride Canterbury 2024
News

Girlings Solicitors is again pleased to be supporting Pride Canterbury.

It is Pride Month 2024 and Girlings is proud to support this important awareness raising month. Our support extends throughout the year, though, and we believe it is important to both support Pride Canterbury and represent members of the LGBTQ+ community among our own clients, staff, and local networks. We also remain committed to nurturing a supportive environment in which all our employees can thrive.

We can’t wait to celebrate Pride Canterbury 2024 on Saturday 8th June 2024. Please look out for our staff who are participating in the parade.

Pride Canterbury attracted over 20,000 people last year, with 2,000 participating in the parade alone, making it Kent’s biggest Pride event.

In addition to hosting the event, Pride Canterbury as an organisation actively works to increase LGBTQ+ awareness and acceptance by collaborating with universities, schools, and youth groups. They also provide resources and information for those seeking support. You can find more on this here.

Girlings Solicitors has sponsored and supported Pride Canterbury since its inaugural event in 2016. This year our logo will appear on the t-shirts worn by the event organisers and stewards, and a team made up of staff from across our offices will take part in the main parade.

We very much hope you will show your support for this popular event that brings so much colour, kindness, and a carnival atmosphere to our city.

We can’t wait to see you there!
