Girlings Solicitors Celebrates Success in Legal 500 Rankings for 2026

Girlings Solicitors is proud to announce its success in the Legal 500 2026 rankings with all five submitting practice areas retaining their positions in this year’s ratings.  This is a superb achievement and objective industry recognition of the strength in depth and consistency present across the Firm.

Additionally the Firm has achieved a significant increase in the number of its solicitors who have been individually recognised as Recommended Lawyers – a prestigious accolade highlighting outstanding expertise in their field.

Private Client

2026 marks the seventh consecutive year in the rankings for the Wills, Tax, and Estate Administration team.

Head of Department Charlotte Nock and Managing Partner Lesley Rushton, are both recognised as recommended lawyers along with Senior Associate Solicitor, Joshua Parton TEP who received Recommended Lawyer status for the first time.

Family Law 

The Family Law team celebrates its fifth consecutive annual ranking.  Head of Department Gemma Purt is joined as a Recommended Lawyer by her colleagues Joanna Lawrence, Curtis Wray, Anisha Teelwah and Megan Mahesan, which means that every member of the Family team is now individually recognised.

Commercial Property

Commercial Property received its fourth listing in a row with partners David Redgate (Canterbury), Sophie Robins (Ashford) and Simon Stempien (Herne Bay) retaining Recommended Lawyer status.  Senior Associate Solicitor Usman Miah joins them for the first time as a Legal 500 Recommended Lawyer.

Corporate and Commercial 

The Corporate and Commercial team achieved ranking status for the sixth consecutive year, with Recommended Lawyer status conferred on Consultant Solicitor and Charities expert Caroline Armitage, Head of Department Chris Brightling and Partner Jonathan Masucci.

Employment Law

The Employment team has been ranked for the fourth successive year and has three Recommended Lawyers, Head of Department Carl Vincent and his fellow Partners David Morgan and Paul McAleavey.
