Girlings is delighted to have been shortlisted for Philanthropic Partner of the Year at Kent Association for the Blind's (KAB) awards ceremony on 28 November. Senior Associate Solicitor, Louise Wilson accepted an award for this shortlisting on behalf of Girlings' Private Client Team in recognition of the work Girlings and Kent Association for the Blind (KAB) are doing together to develop initiatives to better cater for visually impaired clients and improve customer service in this area.
The KAB awards were established in honour of Trustee, Betty Betts MBE and celebrate the achievements of people with a sight impairment. This year the awards also honoured the achievements of KAB's volunteers and fundraisers who make such a big impact on the work of the charity.
The awards were a great opportunity to celebrate the important work KAB does and congratulations to all the winners and other nominees.
