Girlings Culinary Quest - Charity Quiz Night

The Girlings Charity Quiz Night was a huge success, raising funds for our charity partners Holding On Letting Go (HOLG), who support bereaved children and their families. A huge thank you to everyone who supported the event on Friday. Your enthusiasm, fancy dress, and food-based knowledge was first class!

The ‘Michelin Stars’ (a team made up by staff and family from estate agents, Winkworth) emerged victorious after six hard fought rounds. In second place was a team from the University of Kent ‘Closest to the Bar’. Meanwhile, the Firm’s Head of Private Client, Charlotte Nock, led her team, ‘Could do Butter’ into third position.

Special prizes awarded on the night included best fancy-dress outfit, won by Bell, from Gooey Digital Media, who came as ‘a picnic’. Best dressed table was won by ‘the Donutters’ for their imaginative and lively homemade donut hats.

Altogether we raised £2443.85 for HOLG.

The charity’s CEO, Julie Tobin said: “We’re so grateful for the quiz night you hosted—it’s great that you are championing our cause. Your generosity and enthusiasm help us continue providing vital support to bereaved children and their families.”
