Girlings was delighted to once again act as the Key Partner to the Canterbury Wine Festival. Members of the Girlings team showed their support for Kentish wines by attending the Festival preview evening on Friday 19th May at Westgate Hall, Canterbury.
Kent’s multi-award-winning vineyards, including Balfour Winery, Biddenden Vineyards, Brenley Wine, Chartham Vineyard, Heppington Vineyard, Simpsons Wine Estate, Terlingham Vineyard, Wayfarer Wines, Woodchurch Wine, Woolton Farm Wine, Yotes Court Vineyard, and Wine Garden of England were in attendance.
Canterbury-based wine sellers and advocates Corkk also featured, with curated tastings led by Master of Wine Clive Barlow MW.
In addition to sampling some of the Kentish wines that are now rightly receiving international acclaim, the Girlings attendees enjoyed a rousing tribute to the British wine industry from author and broadcaster Oz Clarke (Pictured with the Girlings team and Westgate Hall's Clare Millett and Imogen Morizet, photo credit: Westgate Hall and Carlos Dominguez)
