COVID-19 Update:It's Business As Usual

A  Video Message from our Staff

COVID-19 Legal Guidance

Message from Andrew Watson, Managing Partner

COVID-19 has certainly presented us with some challenges. To meet those challenges we have put in place robust measures to protect our staff and you, our valued clients as much as possible.

We have both the technology and skills in place to work very successfully from home. Our reception areas remain closed and only essential tasks which cannot be completed remotely are being carried out in our offices. Those staff who do need to go into the office occasionally, do so secure in the knowledge that social distancing measures are in place together with extra hygiene facilities such as hand sanitiser, gloves and face coverings.

Communication is always high on our agenda. Our advanced telephone system enables us to answer calls just the same as when we are in the office. You wouldn’t know the difference! We are using video conferencing to hold client and departmental meetings and to keep in touch with our staff.

We are very proud of the way our staff have adapted to this new way of working. While working remotely we understand the importance of engaging with  them frequently, providing them with advice on emotional well-being as well as the importance of keeping physically fit, safe and well during the restrictions of lockdown. Just a few of them are on furlough leave and they too are being kept informed with advice and regular updates as the government's 'road map' unfolds.

These are testing times indeed. However, you can be confident that our focus has not shifted and we are still committed to offering you the same high quality and personal service that you have come to expect from Girlings.

If you would like to make an appointment with one of our legal advisors, visit the Contact Us page on our website for the office you require or use  our online enquiry form.
