Having worked previously in London, her legal career started in 1989 when she took up the role of Client Counsellor at Durnford Ford in Ashford dealing with divorce, ancillary relief, children matters and arranging injunctions.
Working from the early 1990’s at Stoodley Phippen in Ashford as a legal secretary in residential conveyancing and litigation, Allison joined Gambrills in 1991, going back to family law and civil litigation. Returning to Gambrills from maternity leave as a legal secretary in the commercial property department Allison also took on the role of Partnership Administrator which involved dealing with all aspects of the practice’s management and office procedures.
Allison has a reputation for excellent client service, flexibility and dealing with matters quickly and efficiently.
After working in mediation, a break then followed from the legal profession working in the insurance industry as a Business Development Advisor and in the public sector as an Executive PA.
In 2001 Allison took time to be with her family, and during this time ran a successful business from home, converting part of her building into flats.
Running her own business coupled with her extensive and varied experience has developed a strong client-focussed approach as well as a good understanding of the commercial sector. Allison has a reputation for excellent client service, flexibility and dealing with matters quickly and efficiently.
