Zena graduated from the University of Kent in 2006 with a First Class Honours Degree in Law and went on to BPP Law School, London to study for her Legal Practice Course which she passed with Commendation.

Whilst at Law School, Zena worked as a paralegal for Parabis Law LLP, focusing on civil litigation and personal injury work.

Zena trained with Girlings and qualified into the employment department in March 2010.
