Daniel Sherlock's Profile

Daniel has been with the firm's litigation department since 2005 and has been a partner since 2008. He graduated from Cardiff Law School in 1997 and joined Reid Minty solicitors in Mayfair as a paralegal, qualifying as a solicitor at the start of 2001 into the civil litigation department. He has represented clients in litigation matters for over 13 years in a wide range of businesses and private matters.
Although he has clients with a wide variety of legal issues and range of values to advise upon, Daniel has specialist knowledge of contractual claims, land disputes, both commercial and residential landlord & tenant litigation and a growing expertise in contested probate. Recent cases include a successful defence of a claim of just under £1 million in the High Court action of Mahdi v Nurie [2011] EWHC 1545 (QB), where indemnity costs were also awarded against the other party.
Since 2008 he has been part of Girlings Europe where he has responsibility for clients who require Spanish legal advice and assistance.
