Christopher Page's Profile

Christopher joined the firm as a partner in 1999 and is head of the Corporate and Commercial Department. He graduated as a chemist and after qualifying as a solicitor in 1979, specialised in intellectual property law with Stephenson Harwood in London. Since his move to Kent in 1987, he has acted as legal adviser to a wide range of businesses and many non-profit making organisations. He is a longstanding director and President of Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce.
Christopher has two areas of specialism. His corporate work includes capital restructuring, the sale and purchase of companies, management buyouts and sales to institutional investors. He also acts for developers of commercial properties and is the lead partner advising Kent County Cricket Club on the redevelopment of their St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury. Recent corporate transactions include restructuring the share capital of an international transport group to allow dividends to be paid to the ultimate Middle Eastern owner and the £10m sale of a food distributor to a European purchaser.
