Qualifying in 1976, Chris was articled and continued practicing in London, until the arrival of children. He then joined a partnership in Lincolnshire to take advantage of the rural environment, initially dealing with all aspects of the law but subsequently specialising in residential, commercial and agricultural property work. Seeking a return to his roots in the south, Chris took advantage of the opportunity offered by a move to another North Kent firm in 2004, joining there as a partner. He then joined Girlings in 2007 and accepted a partnership in 2008. Chris puts his considerable knowledge to good use for the benefit of the clients.

Formerly an active sportsman, Chris now restricts himself to supporting from the touchline or boundary! He is a member of Rotary International, helping to raise funds for a variety of charitable causes both in this country and abroad.
