Chris graduated from Canterbury Christchurch University with a BA Honours in English and History and went on to acheive the status of Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1992. Chris worked for another Kent based law firm for 20 years before joining Girlings in 2003 as a Legal Executive specialising in Private Client law in Herne Bay. In 2010 Chris was asked to become Girlings' first non-solicitor partner.

Chris is a keen amateur musician.
